Jewellery Designer
The jewels are in the blood of Caroline Ballou. Since 1886, four generations of the Ballou family make their company one of the most important manufacturers of Rhode Island's haute joaillerie. As a young designer, Caroline Ballou took a different course. After receiving his Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she has opened her own studio, producing jewellery to art galleries, hosting shows private with limited edition pieces.

As Director of design for the family business, Caroline's career takes a new dimension when she began to design her own line. It has combined its contemporary visions with the history of B. A. Most of the freshwater of the world is on the ice, stored in glaciers. The largest glacier of Piedmont on Earth is in Alaska. From space, it bears an uncanny resemblance to the swirly spiral that I drew from kindergarten. I can't wait to see if my tears freeze before touching the ground.
Caroline creates its high jewellery collection with a cross-cultural edge, sophisticated product of influences in the world, filtered using the sensitivity of a contemporary artist carefully. Combining models, textures, rhythms, symbols and rich colors, it develops a wide range of collars, cuffs, bracelets, rings and earrings. A little history is infused in every room, because it is interpretation of the decorative traditions Carolina produced many different cultures.

Artist's statement
As an artist, I am careful by nature. And yet, there is something to set foot on foreign soil that really sharpens the senses. My fingerprints not disappear in an instant, but the textures and colors and forms of a place to take root in my soul.
